Winemaker
Lusenti Vini
Emilia-Romagna, Italy
A family winery in Vicobarone near Ziano Piacentino in the Val Tidone, at the western edge of Emilia-Romagna (Colli Piacentini). In the early 1900s grandfather Pietro bought the first farm for table grapes; in the 1960s father Gaetano (Nino) planted the vineyards that still bear fruit today. Now Lodovica Lusenti and her daughter Martina run the estate – organically and biodynamically, with local grapes and bottle-fermented sparkling wines.
