Winemaker
Olivier Leflaive
Burgundy, France
A house in Puligny-Montrachet founded in 1984 by Olivier Leflaive, of a winegrowing family whose Burgundian history dates back to 1717. Unlike a conventional négociant, it buys grapes and must rather than finished wine and makes the wine itself. Today it works with around 100 ha of vines (about a quarter of them its own) across more than 80 Burgundy climats, including the famous Grands Crus Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet.
