A dry Riesling from the Riffel family estate in Bingen, where the Rhine meets the Nahe; biodynamic since 2012. Quartzite soils give a pronounced stony minerality, citrus and a fresh, clean finish.

A family winery in Bingen, where the Nahe meets the Rhine, run since 2005 by Carolin and Erik Riffel (the fourth generation). Organic since 2009 and biodynamic since 2012, with all wines vegan. They farm 18 ha, mainly Riesling on the famous Scharlachberg, where quartzite soils give the wines an intense minerality. Members of Maxime Herkunft, the association of Rheinhessen's top growers.
