Château La Croix St. Georges

A small estate (about 4 ha) in the heart of Pomerol, on the gravel terrace opposite Château Petit Village and close to Vieux Château Certan and Le Pin. The Janoueix family bought it in 1932, during the Depression; since 1999 Jean-Philippe Janoueix has run it. Almost pure Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc, bottled without fining or filtration.
