Fonseca Port Wine

Douro, Portugal

One of the most famous Port houses, founded in 1815. For generations it was led by the Guimaraens family, whose cellar masters defined the house style – full, fruity and rich. Today it is part of The Fladgate Partnership (alongside Taylor's). The grapes come from its own quintas in the Douro valley, and the wine matures in the lodges of Vila Nova de Gaia, opposite Porto.
