Garnacha from the single La Gargantilla vineyard in eastern Rioja, at 680 m, with vines around 45 years old. Aged 14 months in French oak. Cherry, redcurrant, lavender and spice – fresh and elegant.

A family winery in Oyón in Rioja Alavesa. The story began in 1889, when Joaquín Martínez Bujanda dug an underground stone cellar for wines from his ten hectares of vines. His son, grandson and great-grandson followed; Jesús Martínez Bujanda created the Valdemar brand in the 1980s and built one of the most modern wineries of its time. Today the fifth generation represents the family.
